Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data ANISENS processes, why it is processed and how you can exercise your rights.

Controller

ANISENS, a French simplified joint-stock company with share capital of 1,000 euros, registered with the Toulouse Trade and Companies Register under number 102 644 028, with registered office at 32 rue Louis Plana, 31500 Toulouse, France.

Data processed

ANISENS processes the following categories when they are entered or used:

Pet data is not human health data. While it remains connected to an identifiable account, household or contact, it is nevertheless protected together with the associated personal data.

Source and required data

The email address and the minimum information marked in forms are required to create an account and provide the requested features. Without them, the relevant account or feature cannot be provided.

Other fields, photos, documents, imported contacts and iOS permissions are optional. Imported details only come from the contact you select on your device. If you enter another person's data, you must be authorized to use and share it in ANISENS.

Purposes and legal bases

ANISENS contains no advertising, purchases, advertising SDK, or activity tracking across apps or websites owned by other companies.

Statistics and future uses

In the future, ANISENS may produce effectively anonymized and aggregated pet statistics, for example by species, breed, age range or weight range. These results may be used to improve the service or supplied to partners as population-level indicators that cannot identify an owner, household or unique pet.

ANISENS does not use partner analytics or personalized advertising.

ANISENS does not sell or disclose personal data, free-form notes, raw documents, prescriptions, full addresses or account-linked operational rows to partners for advertising purposes.

iOS permissions

The app may request access to the camera, photo library or contacts only for actions you trigger: adding a photo, adding a document or pre-filling a form with the contact details you choose.

Sharing

Sharing is controlled by role and scope. An invited user only accesses information allowed by the owner or by the assigned role.

Data shared with an invited user remains visible to that recipient until the sharing permission expires or is revoked.

Recipients, processors and transfers

Data is accessible to users authorized through sharing rules and, strictly within their duties, to authorized ANISENS personnel and technical providers.

ANISENS relies in particular on AWS for app hosting in the Paris Region, Apple for distribution and iOS services, and Cloudflare for the public website. Some providers or their subprocessors may operate outside the European Economic Area. Where this happens, ANISENS uses safeguards required by applicable law, such as an adequacy decision or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

Retention and deletion

Content legitimately owned by another owner may remain available to them after references identifying the deleted creator are removed. Support requests are retained while being handled and then only as long as needed for evidence or legal claims.

Security

ANISENS applies role- and scope-based access controls, encrypts network traffic and remote storage, prevents public document access and minimizes technical logs. As no system can guarantee zero risk, confirmed incidents are handled under applicable obligations.

Automated decisions

V1 makes no decision producing legal or similarly significant effects on a user solely through automated processing.

Your rights

You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection where applicable, data portability and withdrawal of consent where processing relies on consent. Withdrawal does not affect earlier processing.

To exercise these rights: help@anisens.com. ANISENS responds within the legal time limit, subject to reasonable identity verification. You may also lodge a complaint with your competent data-protection authority; in France, this is the CNIL.

Medical limitation

ANISENS helps organize information about your pets. The app does not replace a veterinarian, does not diagnose and must not be used as the sole basis for a decision in case of symptoms, doubt or emergency.
